Bree was born and raised on the Eastside of Detroit. Bree always had a passion for televison. Ever since the third grade, Bree knew she wanted to report the news. Following that, she attended Detroit School of Arts-where she majored in Journalism and Radio and Television. Bree stayed dedicated and focused on her dreams, to continue her education at Oakland University. While attending school at Oakland University, Bree discovered that she wanted to have her own show. Bree worked hard and took challenging classes to help strengthen her skills for television.

Bree went on to obtain her bachelors degree in Communications from Oakland University. After graduation, Bree found herself wanting to help and showcase the growth happening in Detroit. Bree decided to create her own online show called Project Recap.

Project Recap was started to help local businesses, artists and entreprenuers doing something positive within their community. Since the news was only reporting the bad, Bree wanted to put emphasis on the positive things happening in Detroit. Bree is continuing her dream today, and hopes to one day expand the show into a company to help people all over the world.

As young as I could remember I love to plan events. As a young child I remember throwing tea parties seating the table perfectly. First, I would practice the tea party with my dolls and used imaginary cakes and water as our snacks. Once I mastered how to decorate the table with my princess tea set, I started adding real cookies and lemonade and my family members became my live genie pigs. One year, my Grandmother help me throw a big tea party themed birthday and she let me pick out the colors I wanted, and even let me pick flowers from her garden as my centerpiece. Everyone had so much fun and, I think it was that point when I started enjoying planning parties.

When I got older, I would help various family member set up for parties and other events. After years of watching and helping my Grandmother set up her elegant social gathering; each event gave me an eye for detail and great organizational skills. My love for party planning continued to grow as family members and friend asked me to help with catering and planning birthdays, open houses, weddings and more. I did it because I enjoyed so, I decided to start doing it more often expanding to businesses and advertising my services. The response was great, when you love what you do it doesn’t seem like work.

I earned my MBA from Salem International University and have applied the business and marketing skills I acquired to create my own successful event planning, marketing, and event productions company; Sodalis Productions over the last 5 years. "I am happy to help you plan and execute your next successful and elegant event on any budget."
